We are pleased to welcome you to the Official Website of the Trinidad and Tobago Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
CIArb is a not-for-profit UK registered charity and an international centre of excellence for the practice and profession of alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
The Trinidad and Tobago Chapter was formed as a subsection of the Caribbean Branch in December 2011 to further the Object of the Institute in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
The Chapter currently has a membership of persons comprising approximately 60 Fellows, Members and Associates.
The main activities of the Chapter include assisting the Branch in facilitating training in Trinidad and Tobago, providing networking and social opportunities for the local members and promoting the Institute and the use of ADR in the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
The first Executive of the Chapter was elected on 24th October, 2018 and is involved in revamping and modernising the Chapter by bringing its members together and ensuring their knowledge is kept up-to-date, facilitating accessibility of ADR services to the people of Trinidad and Tobago and in the ongoing organisation and administration of the Chapter, including establishing the Chapter's website.
